I genuinely enjoyed that the events of City of Glass were the ones that led to everything that happened in City of Fallen Angels.Īnd, boy! How many things happened indeed! What’s more, I really liked the fact that the already known and loved (or even hated) characters faced an inner development and evolution of their own. Starting with the technicalities of this instalment, I absolutely adored the pacing of the novel, the introduction of the new characters, the parallelisms and metaphors Cassandra Clare uses, as this made everything more vivid and real inside my mind.
